Project: Pioneering carbon labelling for UK travel company
In 2021 we started working with partner travel company Kagumu Adventures to identify and measure carbon emissions related to educational experiences ranging from group trips to online courses.
As well as giving clients the ability to see estimated carbon emissions from each educational trip or virtual experience, we identified how the company could lower their carbon emissions and where they needed to offset in order to reach Carbon Neutral. Working in line with their business objectives, we helped them set ambitious but achievable targets that would give them the competitive edge in the responsible travel market and help them deliver on their business mission: to inspire young people to live more sustainable lives.
